How works Solar On Grid Power Plant

Step 1 – Conversion to DC Power (Solar PV Panels)
Photovoltaic panels are made up of such materials which convert sunlight into Direct Current (DC) electricity.

Step 2 – Conversion to AC Power (Inverter)
This DC power is then sent to an inverter which converts DC power into Grid quality AC electricity.

Step 3 – Net Meter (Import Export meter)
An export / import meter (net meter) is installed by the power company to monitor how much electricity is being imported or exported during the day so they know how much to charge you at the end of the month.

Step 4 – Utility Grid (Supplies Shortfall Energy or Provides Credit for Unused Electricity)

The converted AC power is then fed into existing wiring system through net meter (Import Export meter). This meter makes way to solar electricity first and any shortfall thereafter is met by drawing current from the utility grid. If you produce more power from your PV system than your consumption is automatically fed back into the public grid, and you will be given a credit for that contributed electricity by your power company.
